# Point of Sale

Staff can see a customer's wishlist in Shopify POS and sell from it at the counter. They can also save a product to the customer's wishlist while helping them in store.

## Set up

1. Install Wishlist and open Shopify POS.
2. On the POS home screen, add the **Wishlist** tile.
3. Optional: add the **Wishlist** block to the product details screen.

The tile and block have no settings.

## See the customer's wishlist

Add a customer to the cart. The **Wishlist** tile shows how many items they saved; tap it to open **Customer wishlist**.

Each item shows its stock at your location:

| Label | Meaning |
|---|---|
| **{n} in stock here** | Can be sold now. |
| **Available** | Inventory isn't tracked, or selling when out of stock is allowed. |
| **{n} at other locations** | Not in stock here, but available elsewhere. |
| **Out of stock** | Not available anywhere. |
| **Not available on POS** | The product isn't published to Point of Sale. |

Items you can sell here come first. When the customer has more than one list, pick one under **Lists**.

## Sell from the wishlist

- **Add to cart** adds one item.
- **Choose variant** appears when the customer saved a product without picking a variant.
- **Add all in stock to cart** adds every item that is in stock here, up to the stock on hand. A message tells you how many were skipped or need a variant.

Orders from these items count toward [wishlist revenue](https://wishlist.themivo.com/docs/analytics) like any other order.

## Save for the customer

On a product's details screen, the **Wishlist** block shows whether the customer already saved it. Tap **Add to wishlist** to save it to their first list. On the customer's page in the app, the item shows "at POS".

Staff can't remove items from POS.

## Offline

POS keeps the wishlists of the last 10 customers on the device. Offline, you can still view them, marked "Not updated", but you can't add or change items until POS is back online.

## Requirements

- A customer must be in the cart. Guests' wishlists can't be opened in POS.
- The screens are in English.
