Shopify Flow
Wishlist adds triggers and an action to Shopify Flow, so you can build automations without code. Turn Flow on in the app under Notifications → Integrations.
Triggers
| Trigger | Fires when |
|---|---|
| Wishlist item added | A customer saves a product. |
| Wishlist item removed | A customer removes a product. |
| Wishlist back in stock | A saved product is available again. |
| Wishlist low stock | A saved product drops below the low stock threshold. |
| Wishlist price drop | A saved product's price drops by the set percentage. |
| Wishlist reminder | A customer's list has been idle for the reminder period. |
Each trigger runs once per customer and includes the customer, so you can use it in conditions and actions such as sending an email, tagging a customer or creating a discount. Every trigger also has List ID and List name. The others add:
| Trigger | Product | Extra fields |
|---|---|---|
| Item added, item removed, back in stock | Yes | Variant ID |
| Low stock | Yes | Variant ID, Inventory quantity |
| Price drop | Yes | Variant ID, Price, Previous price, Currency code |
| Reminder | No | Item count |
Triggers fire for signed-in customers only. Guests have no Shopify customer record.
Action
| Action | Result |
|---|---|
| Check if product is in wishlist | Returns whether a customer has a product in any of their lists. |
Use it as a condition: for example, when an order is created, check whether the customer had the product saved.
Throttling
To stay under Flow's rate limits, triggers are queued and sent at a steady rate per store. A trigger may arrive a few minutes after the event during busy periods.
